How I Balance Life as a Sports Mom and a Real Estate Entrepreneur (And Tips to Help You Do the Same!)
One of the questions I get asked the most is: “How do you balance it all?”
Between running Bloom Home Group Realty, growing Official Sports Mom MVP, supporting my kids in travel baseball and softball, and managing everything in between, balance isn’t about doing everything perfectly—it’s about prioritizing what matters most in the moment.
The truth? Some days feel smooth, and others feel like pure chaos! But over time, I’ve found ways to keep things (mostly) running without losing my mind.
Here’s what works for me—and hopefully, it can help you too!
Plan Ahead (Your Calendar is Your Best Friend!)
If it’s not scheduled, it’s not happening! I plan everything—work meetings, practices, games, tournaments, and family time. Digital calendars, planners, and reminders keep me on track so nothing gets overlooked.
Pro Tip:
Use color-coding for different areas of your life (work, kids, personal) to quickly see where your time is going.
Lean on Your Team (You Don’t Have to Do It All Alone!)
I wouldn’t survive without my support system—my husband, business partners, and fellow sports moms. I’ve learned that asking for help isn’t a weakness—it’s a necessity! Whether it’s carpooling to practice or outsourcing tasks in my business, teamwork makes the dream work.
Pro Tip:
Find your go-to group of trusted people and lean on them when you need it. You’re not meant to do this alone!
Be Present (Even If It’s Not Perfect!)
When I’m with my clients, I focus on them. When I’m at the ball field, I’m all in. It’s not always easy, but I’ve learned that quality time beats quantity every time.
Pro Tip:
Put your phone away during special moments. The emails and messages can wait—soak in the time with your kids while you can!
Give Yourself Grace (Some Days Are Just Hard!)
Not every day will feel balanced—and that’s okay! Some days, real estate takes center stage. Other days, I’m all in for a tournament weekend. The key is to let go of guilt and trust that you’re doing your best.
Pro Tip:
When you feel overwhelmed, take a deep breath and remind yourself why you’re doing all of this in the first place. Passion fuels the hustle!
At the end of the day, I do it all because I love both—real estate and being a sports mom. It’s a crazy, busy, beautiful life, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
